About the Role

You'll be responsible for delivering engaging and effective training through our Day School and Walk & Train programs. Every day is different, with opportunities to work with dogs of all breeds, ages, and personalities while building their confidence, manners, and obedience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct one-on-one training sessions during Day School and Walk & Train programs.

  • Safely transport dogs to and from training locations (if required).

  • Implement training plans using sound, proven methods.

  • Monitor each dog's progress and provide detailed feedback to clients.

  • Maintain high standards of animal welfare, safety and hygiene.

  • Work closely with the GTK9 team to deliver exceptional customer service.

We're Looking For Someone Who Has

  • Previous dog training experience (professional experience preferred).

  • Strong understanding of canine behaviour and learning principles.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Confidence handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments.

  • A current driver's licence and a clean driving record.

  • Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude.

  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team with professionalism.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Nationally recognised dog training or animal behaviour qualification.

  • Experience in puppy training, obedience, and behavioural modification.

  • Current First Aid certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
